The Cambodia National Resistance Council Calls for Unity Amid Cambodia–Thailand Tensions

The Cambodia National Resistance Council (CNRC) and Cambodian people around the world have fulfilled their duty energetically and with great dedication to act to encourage and urge the government to take major border dispute cases to the International Court of Justice for resolution because we only trust in international mechanisms and do not trust bilateral negotiations between the current Phnom Penh regime government and neighboring countries. On June 15, we achieved our first goal, which is to demand that the Phnom Penh regime government take four border cases in dispute with the Thai side, including Ta Moan Thom Temple, Ta Moan Toch Temple, Ta Krabey Temple, and Mom Tei Area, to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Netherlands. We will continue to work hard to increase the movement to be more active, urging the government to file cases with the International Court of Justice regarding border disputes in other areas between Cambodia and neighboring countries in the spirit of law, genuine peace, and the protection of Cambodian territory. In addition, we would like to inform our fellow Cambodians that when the National Council of Struggle leads the country, we will announce to the Cambodian people and the international community about Cambodia's territorial rights, which we will sue or reserve the right to sue to the International Court of Justice to resolve any territorial disputes with neighboring countries as follows: The territory of Kampuchea Krom, Koh Tral, the Krak Ses Islands cluster, a sea area of 30,000 square kilometers, a historical water area of 10,000 square kilometers, and many other disputed border areas that the Vietnamese side has invaded and controlled, violating the sovereignty of Cambodia. Koh Kut, a 30,000 square kilometer sea area, An Se Pass, Phnom Trat area, Indriya Valley, and other disputed border areas, where the Thai invaders have come to control and violate Cambodia's sovereign territory.
